Travel Guide

Getting There

MIA airport has excellent Latin American connections. Hard Rock Stadium is in Miami Gardens — about 30 minutes from South Beach by car. Metrorail and Metrobus serve the area but rideshare is recommended for stadium trips. No direct rail to the stadium. Plan for traffic.

Where to Stay

South Beach is iconic but expensive and far from the stadium. Brickell and Downtown Miami are more central. Wynwood and the Design District are trendy options. For proximity to the stadium, North Miami Beach or Aventura are good bets.

Food & Drink

Cuban food is king — try Versailles in Little Havana for the full experience. Calle Ocho is a food paradise. Colombian, Venezuelan, Peruvian, and Haitian cuisine are all excellent. Fresh ceviche, empanadas, and cafecito (Cuban coffee) are daily essentials.

Fan Zone & Atmosphere

South Beach and Bayfront Park are prime fan zone locations. Brickell's bar scene will be electric. Little Havana's Calle Ocho will be a spontaneous street party. Inter Miami's growing fanbase adds to the football culture.

Safety

Tourist areas are generally safe. Be cautious in unfamiliar neighborhoods at night. The Florida sun is extremely strong — sunscreen and hydration are critical. Afternoon thunderstorms are common in summer but pass quickly. Watch for rip currents at the beach.

Local Tips

Spanish is spoken everywhere — you can get by without English in many neighborhoods. Wynwood Walls is free outdoor street art. The Everglades are 45 minutes away. Don't underestimate the heat — drink water constantly. Uber Boat is a fun way to cross Biscayne Bay.
